It should be within walking distance from good Restaurants and Bars, and nice and clean. Not looking to spend $400/night either. 2. Any of you locals wanna get together for a beer tomorrow afternoon? Lots of great bars/brew pubs, right in the historical area of the city...all within walking distance. Try the Society Hill Sheraton: Society Hill Sheraton or, some others to consider near Olde City: Hyatt Penns Landing Omni Hotel at Independence Mall Holiday Inn Independence Mall Depending on what your nightlife taste is, South Street is also a spot you might want to hit. Very eclectic area, whereas the Olde City Taverns are more yuppie, laid back, but with solid visuals. No quality hotels near South Street, though...you'll be cabbing it there.
