Kid Cid
For the most part I respect the police but there are times like these that make me question what they're doing. That being said, I'd like to see all of the unedited footage and maybe some other footage if it exists. Something precipitated the incident, whether that something was by the cops or by the protesters, I couldn't tell from what I saw. Still, it seems like a gross over-reaction to a non-violent crowd. SheikYerbuti
Stop, children, what's that sound? Everybody look what's going down.
SheikYerbuti
OK, just watched the video. . .2 thoughts: 1. To the protestors: That was NOT worth it, IMO. Seriously, you should have gotten more than 15 people to march with you. Bigger crowd = less percentage chance it's going to be you kissing the business end of a nightstick. 2. To the cops: I gotta say, if I was in the mood to open up a can of whopazz, I'd be thrilled to be on that detail that day. Pounding on some Tibet protestors has got to be the best bet for gettin' some without the risk of getting capped in retaliation. Good times. Kid Cid
Big hitter, the Lama. ...long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
