Gopher
Hard to feel sorry for a guy making that much money, but in fairness to Zito, he has gone up against the opposing team's ace pretty much every start. But, at the same time, that's what the #1 guy is supposed to do, and a 7+ ERA can't really be defended. The part that is hard to figure out is what happened to him, exactly. It's not like the effort isn't there. It's almost more of a mechanics issue, or maybe he just doesn't have "it" anymore. Fast ball tops out at the low-mid 80's, and his curve seems to be hanging up more than in years past. Other than that, the Giants have been surprisingly competitive so far.... Lincecome and Cain are going to be really good, especially the former.
SheikYerbuti
Well, if he wanted to be the highest paid at his position, he did it. Can't think of any setup men who are making $160 mil.

Worst contract, on the other hand, he's the leader in the clubhouse.
