bushwacked
So you are saying there is a correlation between vulcanism and climate change, I gotcha. No, I'm not saying that, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was. I'm saying that any accepted model, in any discipline, either applies correlations that directly effects the output or, at the least, considers correlations from a preponderance of data and apples it to the overall evaluation. Yeah I understand. Basically there is a lot of research into it which reaches different conclusions. Is that a decent summary?
bushwacked
Yeah I understand. Basically there is a lot of research into it which reaches different conclusions. Is that a decent summary? If independent scientific studies come to similar conclusions the vast majority of the time, then it makes a strong scientific case. AtomicCEO
In the life of the earth, do you not consider a active life of a volcano to be spontaneous and unpredictable? That was not Cliaz's stoned hypothesis, which may or may not have merit.

Kid Cid
So you are saying there is a correlation between vulcanism and climate change, I gotcha. Are there any other things that have historically caused the climate to change? Yes, the Milankovitch cycles which correspond to the ice ages recorded during the current Quarternary Period.
