For 55 inches wide, it is 36(55)= 1980 sq in/yd. 1 sq m = 39.37^2 in = 1550 sq in so each lin yd = 1980/1550 = 1.2774 sq m. weight = 5.9 oz x 1.2774 = 7.5368 oz per sq m 1 oz = 28.3495 grams so 7.7368(28.3495) = 213.66 answer is 213.66 g/m2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
