TimC
This man is an idiot of epic proportions. Please don't let his stupidity perpetuate any longer in America. Let's wrap this fool up and send him to North Korea where his Socialist skills can truly be appreciated. "The American people can begin to see they're going to get some relief and some help from their Congress", said the Banking Committe chairman on bailing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac out. It was basically bi-partisan vote, but let's start with this idiot from Commie Connecticut. Ahhh, it must be good to collect all that bribe campaign contribution money and use it to get re-elected everytime. We now have private companies when times are good and they are collecting huge bonuses for themselves and Socialism when times are bad. Welcome to Amerika. CaP'N GRuNGe
I thought I heard Fannie May and Freddie Mac used to be government entities before being turned over to the private sector. Maybe if they still were and operated under some decent regulation they wouldn't have gotten themselves in trouble by focusing on doing whatever it took to make their bottom line look better and instead operated more like a non-profit whose mission is to make smart affordable loans to safer first time buyers.
