Egret
I thought that was one free agent the Rangers wouldn't get. I thought he would end up on the Island. Their payroll has got to be huge.
Guest Azazello13
long history of...one player (now two)? fleury, kasparaitis...those are the only two big-name midseason acquisitioins who didn't re-sign with the team. one was a disappointing headcase, the other got overpaid by the rangers. the only thing the avs have a long history of is losing players to free agency while adding none. and didn't the wings do the same thing with jiri slegr? policyvote
Azazello13:and didn't the wings do the same thing with jiri slegr? Sorta, they traded a first-rounder for him, played him for the last eight regular season games . . . and then sat him for the entire playoffs, save Game 5 of the Carolina series (Fischer was hurt). He was just insurance. Peace policy
