Flip_Side
Standard ESPN scoring, but all TDs are 6 points. Non-PPR. Pick 2: T. Jones vs. ARI C. Johnson vs. MIN P. Thomas vs. NO T. Hightower @ NYJ Pick 1: H. Ward vs. BAL J. Reed @ STL (with Parish now out) I. Hilliard vs. GB (remember GB's main defensive back is out) Also, of the 4 guys you didn't pick, which one would you stick in my WR/RB flex this week? Cheers! T.Jones Johnson Hightower Ward
Flip_Side
I need to choose between the 3 following backs in a standard performance scoring league. I need to start 2 RBs. M Turner @ CAR S Jackson vs BUF LJ vs Denver I am leaning toward playing Jackson and LJ because they are home and Turner is playing a tough CAR run defense on the road. Please advise. This is non ppr? Turner and LJ. Jackson has done diddly-squat and I expect a lot of pressure on QB Trent Green. Buffalo is a good D and I don't see Jackson having much of an impact at all. 85thatstright10
wsis...chambers vs. OAK or Ocho Cinco vs. CLE i am leaning toward sticking with chambers because he hot( can he really score 5 games in a row, 1 from last season?)but I have a hunch Chad Johnson will have one of his big games against CLE. Last year he went 11/over 200 yds and 2 td's. Chamber last game vs. OAK 3/42 TD. Thanks for your input

Chambers is not great in PPR leagues but he always makes his catches count. I expect him to torch Oakland this week. DeAngelo Hall looks like a mess this year and he should be able to get open a couple times downfield.
jdn4891
Thanks for the previous reply, I agree, I'm going to switch out Bruce for Crayton One more please; Standard ESPN Scoring; WR/RB Flex position Question; Chris Chambers, Dwayne Bowe, or Jerious Norwood? Chambers & SD are @ OAK, Bowe & KC face Denver, and ATL & Norwood are @ Carolina. Norwood had 73 yards last week; ATL's #1 ranked rushing game ran the ball almost 3x as much as passed, but Carolina's D isn't bad. I like the KC/DEN match up. 3-0 DEN, and 0-3 KC, I think this is the week that Denver's 30th ranked defense will reveal the teams ultimate weakness. So, Bowe might a smart pick, I don't know. Your thoughts? Edited September 25, 2008 by jdn4891
electricrelish
My fault didn't realize that it was PPR. I'm not expecting much from either back but in PPR format you gotta go Charles. Hall doesn't catch any passes and Charles is always a lock for 2-3 catches it seems. I except hall to get some yardage but Charles's catches will probably even out that with some yardage also. Thanks!

L.T Bush Marshall Edwards- He'll have a good game Vs Cincy, doesn't matter what he did the past few weeks. Anderson's job is on the line and he will come out gunning. Put Cotchery in there for flex. He should have a decent game Vs Arizona.

jdn4891
Hey Buddy, thanks for your replies yesterday, I've got one more for you. I need to play 2 of 3 RB's between Forte, Turner, and Buckhalter. If Westbrook is out, might Buckhalter be a better play than Forte or Turner? Go Pittsburgh D, they should wreak havoc on Flaco.

Johnathon Stewart for sure. I don't like either of the other 3. I'm not sold on Slaton or Buck and Chris Johnson has a tough matchup. I would still give Chris Johnson the start because he has proven to be pretty consistent and could possibly break a big one. Don't expect too much though, the Vikings have been great on D, but I still like him better then the other options. Bryant and Driver. Bryant is coming off a great game and it should be a shootout. Tampa Bay just gave up a bunch of yards to Kyle Orton and I see Aaron Rodgers laying it into them on Sunday.
Flip_Side
hey flip man, Royal @ KC or Reed @ STL... reasons too if you could Royal. Reed could have a decent game but I expect Buffalo to keep it on the ground with Marshawn or pass mainly to Evans. Royal could benefit even with Marshall catching most of the passes. He has a great matchup and Jay still looks to him every now and then.
