mclovin Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 FYI - I have this issue as well. Madison, WI - Charter Cable Called Sportsline customer support. They thought they had the issue fixed. Tech support will call back after checking into it. Rep. said charter was leased with Verizon, so was most likely the same issue. I'll reply with further info when rep calls back. sc43 Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 It appears to be a proxy issue with Verizon. If you go into your browser internet options| connections| LAN Settings and set the proxy server to 69.4.5.120 port 80 Sportsline will work. 69.4.5.120 is a free open proxy but it does have an internet filter. It will block out this site so you will have to add it to the exceptions list in your LAN settings. This is a temporary fix until someone at Verizon or Sportsline figures out how to fix the issue.
