Blowing Up
Why is he out after the first inning?
Big John
It was reported that Wells had back spasms.
Donutrun Jellies
I hate to revel in another's misfortune, but as a coach and parent, I loved this. Wells' pregame comment that his success shows you don't have to bust your butt ...... great message to inspire kids -- to be slackers. Came back to haunt him -- proper conditioning (and not the juiced up weight pumping of the fragile stero-manics) would likely have prevented his demise ... lugging 50 pounds of extra gut around takes its toll -- especially with no muscle tone to support it!! As for my players, they understand that prepping for a game can be fun when done right and being in good shape only makes sense.
