Chief Dick
What kind of TV's do you have that necessitate changing a bulb? I think I want to avoid that when looking for a new TV.
Bengal Mania
If you don't want to do it yourself, you could get 10 Polocks to do the job....one to hold the bulb, nine to......never mind Hello ,<taps microphone> is this thing on? 'canes2004
What kind of TV's do you have that necessitate changing a bulb? I think I want to avoid that when looking for a new TV. It's a Sony SXRD 50" LCD. It's only 2 years old with maybe about 1500 hours on it. Come to find out NOW that the lamp life on the Sony's isn't what they advertise it is. Your supposed to get 8,000 hours before changing the lamp but my set is no where near that amount.
hazen
Don't touch the bulb with your hand, use a clean cloth or just touch the bulb assembly. Other than that, it's very simple...less than a 10 minute fix.
