Ursa Majoris
Answer the question do you think the founding fathers would be on board with it? Who cares? Would they have any idea about a nation in 2009 and what it takes to maintain it? I dispute that the services paid for by taxation are of no use to the higher tax payers. CaP'N GRuNGe
Answer the question do you think the founding fathers would be on board with it? No, they'd be for an agrarian society and we'd still be living in a third world country in terms of economic growth. As Ursa eluded to, the world changes. Clubfoothead
Answer the question do you think the founding fathers would be on board with it? Sure they would. For the benefitof America, they taxed themselves at a significantly higher rate than they taxed their salves.
