Skippy
My daughter has a science paper to do. She is only in the sixth grade and I am not asking for help but rather a what the eff is this teacher saying when she assigned my daughter a “water fall” as her natural disaster? When I hear natural disaster I am thinking: tornado, hurricane, earthquake, lightening strike, volcano eruption, tidal wave, etc. How the hell does water fall come into play? My daughter is totally confused and I can offer no help. What say the huddle? I am I missing something?
Big John
My best guess is excessive rain causing flooding. Doubt it deals with the Waterfall train disaster in Australia.
wiegie
that's the dumbest thing I've heard of. BUT, use this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sea_deluge_theory (and in particular, use the second picture here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Deluge-nasa.jpg )
