polksalet Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 I took Jr. out to the place we just bought. He took his red ryder and I took my 44 magnum handi-rifle. I took some mag and some 44 special ammo. I wanted to see how he would handle it so he fired off a round of special and laughed. It has zero kick. It is just about like a 22 lr. So I took him out to and old car and let him open up with the magnum rounds. They moved around on him some but he had fun blowing the car to pieces. I really never thought an 8 y/o could operate a 44 mag but I guess I was wrong. I'm thinking hard about taking him out with the ak tomorrow.
