'canes2004
Ive seen Styx a few times in concert over the years. They always put on a great show.Even on the Kilroy Was Here tour they sounded awesome. They came out, played the whole Kilroy Was Here album with the props and actors and other stage theatrics. Watching it tripping my balls off, it was weird to say the least. After a brief intermission they came back and played 1 1/2 hours of hit after hit. I felt much better then and it ended up being a great show. Suite Madame Blue is both a ballad and a killer rock song. It really showed the fusion between Dennis DeYoung and the rest of the band and is easily my favorite Styx tune.
Chargerz
When they gave Tommy Shaw his head, he would rock out, is a good example. I went to two Styx concerts in the late 70's early 80's. There was a haze, but I don't think it was nostalgia. I saw Styx in concert and "Miss America" brought the house down! They did an expanded instrumental segment in the middle that had people going nuts....I think....things got a little hazy back then for me too.
