pngiaca
I have Lee Evans riding my bench, and I really dont see myself starting him anytime soon, so i am thinking about dropping him for a potential sleeper... My Team: QB: Rodgers/Schaub RB: Turner/Kevin Smith/Ray Rice/Beanie Wells WR: Andre Johnson/Boldin/Desean Jackson/Lee Evans TE: Clark/Boss Def: NYG/SD K: Who Cares about Kickers! If I were to drop Evans, should I pick up Mario Manninham or Johny Knox? Both are highly unproven, but Lee Evans seems to be a 5-10 point scorer at most each week at most, and I think its worth the risk to let him go. stokers
I would go with Manninham, he looks like he has great chemistry with Manning and can catch the long ball. Evans was dropped in our league over a week ago and no one has picked him up. I'm sure you could get him back if you needed him.
chinatown dragons
I just grabbed Johnny Knox as my first choice, Manningham, was taken... that being said, if you can get Manningham, I'd grab him..... bear in mind, i was only dropping Devone Bess from the Phins for Knox......Evans is better than Bess... DBunting
If it were me, I'd go with Knox. The G-men are supposedly a running team and don't normally have a Tier 1 receiver. Cutler on the other hand seems to target someone and stay with him. You have studs at 1-2 WR so this isn't a pressing need for you. I am trying to pick Knox up in my league this week also. Walleyes
I am sort of in the same boat, I have some high draft picks that are just sitting on my bench. I have no confidence in them and want to shake it up. I would give Manningham the advantage from what I've seen of him. I am picking up Knox this week only because manningham is already taken. ReturnToSender
Umm, I would keep Lee Evans
pngiaca
Umm, I would keep Lee Evans Why? Although his downside may not be as bad as Manningham or Know, his upside seems to be pretty shallow. Even when TO wasn't on the team, he was not a big point scorer the last two seasons. dfine
I am in the same boat. Would you drop a Ted Ginn or Nate Burleson for Mario Manningham?
pngiaca
I think so. Same idea, more upside with Manninham, but he is still highly unproven.
