Square
Or Olson's. Anybody got a theory on what happened to that dude so far? I have Olsen in one league and luckily I picked up Heap off the WW. Olsen is on my bench until he proves something. He always seemed like he had talent and Cutler seemed to like to throw to his TEs so I don't know what the problem is
michaelman
WEll for Olsen in week 1.. i watched the whole game and the defense had a guy GLUED TO him at all times with a safety over the top as if he was Randy Moss.
vikinglion
The truth is that no one really knows who will emerge as the Bears' best receivers...STILL. One week does not make Johnny Knox a star, nor do we know that he will not have success. It's just too early to tell. We saw Johnny several times at training camp, and indeed he was a likeable guy. Guys were kidding him about the little beard he'd grown one day, but what people really noticed was his S-P-E-E-D... Obviously he could fly. So we've got him opposite of Devin (Hester), and you've got two guys who can fly, plus Bennett, plus Olsen... We're kind of down on Rashied Davis except that Rashied is good on special teams. We are all HOPING that Johnny really gets good, and we're HOPING that Earl Bennett gets good, and we're HOPING that Greg Olsen really emerges, but at this point, and this is the whole point, it really hasn't shaken itself out yet. Johnny's fast. Let's hope he can be the next great Bears receiver. It's just too early to tell.
Bring Back Pat!!!
I was a HUGE Cutler fan and it wasn't him moving to Chicago that turned me against him. It's the exact game you mentioned. It was the 3rd qtr on Miami's 31 yard line when Royal dropped a bad pass from Cutler which then forced them to attempt a field goal which was missed. Cutler went off the field screaming at Royal. It was a tantrum that made the kid look like an idiot. From then on, it was the Brandon Marshall show with Pittman and Jackson getting a couple of looks but that was about it. I do recall Royal getting one throw, but that was only because Cutler was rushed. Cutler is great talent, but he also has two paths he can take. He can take the JeffGeorge road at the detriment of his team or take the Tom Brady approach and work with his team and lose his arrogance. His current problem is he blames everyone else for mistakes. He needs to start owning up and grow as a man and he WILL be another Farve, Elway or Moreno. You may want to start watching the games closer. Royal had SIX targets, including THREE on the NEXT possession, the rest of the game. 6 targets in roughly 23 minutes. Marshall had nine after the same point. Randall
Knox had a very good game and made excellent catches but he wasn't pressed. We'll have to see what happens when they game plan for him.
DaFreak
The receiver Cutler really likes is Devin Aromashodu....

Randall
Let's see Cutler's go to guy. E. Bennett 3 73 G. Olsen 4 40 1 M. Forte 4 32 D. Hester 2 27 J. Knox 1 7 1 About the same as Favre's (whoever is open and making plays).
