Do Work Son Posted September 30, 2009 Share Posted September 30, 2009 I thought it would be interesting to come up with some names of players that were drafted outta college in the 1st round of the NFL Draft and were busts and either released or traded by the team that drafted them. And then later on sign a contract with another team(Benson with the Bengals) to go on any have a pretty successful career.... Im just trying to give us Benson owners some hope that he can continue to put up good numbers throughout the whole season and maybe have a pretty good career with the Bengals if he can stay healthy and outta trouble. He was first in the USFL out of college, then drafted in the 1st of the supplemental by the Bucs that same year (1984), then had a poor record with the Bucs starting in 1985.
