Portis has not been performing as expected prior to the season, but is still getting carries and "ok" yards ... he's got to remember where the end zone is sometime, right? The Hurtings Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 I have the same dilema this week. I would start Coffee @ home this week. SF playing better than the skins. I believe Carolina will get things on track and the Skins will be playing from behind. My question is would you start Coffee, Portis, Willis McGahee, or Ray Rice? My dilemma was whether to drop Portis to get Coffee or not. Obviously Coffee has no real long term value; but I would use the roster spot later for someone else anyway; as we have very small lineups and lots of potential talent on the waiver wire. I would have to understand what RBs you have on your roster, how many do you start, before I would drop Portis. Coffee may only be good for this week as next week is a bye and Gore slated to return.
