MustOfBeenDrunk
HUDDLE UP: Every week there seems to be another excuse for why LT didn't light it up like he used to. A cold? Really? He couldn't stuff a tissue in his belt and blow his nose between snaps?

He couldn't stuff a tissue in his belt and blow his nose between snaps? Although harsh, it's true. Every week I read about his performance and an exuse behind it. Here is the real reason, the BIG 3 and the BIG 0.

There's probably already been a thread devoted this subject but I would like to so a list of RBs who ran for at least 1000 yards in a season after their 30th birthday. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but here is a list of RB that had 1000+ seasons when they turned 30 or older by Dec 31st of that year. There is a definite tapering off as you get older. There were: (age, num players > 1000 rushing yards that season) 21 (8) 22 (29) 23 (54) 24 (71) 25 (78) 26 (77) 27 (70) 28 (45) 29 (39) 30 (21) 31 (10) 32 (5) 33 (2) 34 (1) 35 (2) I think arguments could be made for the "old" threshold being at 30, or 31.
