There's probably already been a thread devoted this subject but I would like to so a list of RBs who ran for at least 1000 yards in a season after their 30th birthday.

There's probably already been a thread devoted this subject but I would like to so a list of RBs who ran for at least 1000 yards in a season after their 30th birthday.

It's not exactly what you are looking for, but here is a list of RB that had 1000+ seasons when they turned 30 or older by Dec 31st of that year.

 

There is a definite tapering off as you get older. There were: (age, num players > 1000 rushing yards that season)

26 (77)

27 (70)

28 (45)

29 (39)

30 (21)

31 (10)

32 (5)

33 (2)

34 (1)

35 (2)

 

I think arguments could be made for the "old" threshold being at 30, or 31.
