Mooseknuckle Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) Hi guys, What happens when one team out of a 12 team money league gives up and just decides not to put in a linup anymore? For the past two weeks the same team has done that and just gave the win to his opponents. How do you think this should be handled going forward? This is a internet run league so the person can't just be kicked out. My initial thought is to just put in his best lineup and once the byes are done just leave it. Is that fair? Big Country Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 A simple solution: 1. his roster is frozen. 2. You can't go with best possible lineup, that is unfair, and you shouldn;t go with no lineup, also unfair. Give the team the league average for the week. It's about as close to fair as you will get. Some will reccomend having owners vote on the lineup each week, and another option is to bring in a new owner to take over the team for the remainder of the season. chase0 Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) just cause it happened 2 weeks in a row doesn't mean that it should keep happening. if you take the league average and award it to a ghost team someones gonna go nuts. the guy has to have a lineup in. whatever happens before that is what it is. people who play him and lose can complain but, if they lose, they are losing to his team. not some made up average. situation sucks Edited November 4, 2009 by chase0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
