ry-bread
Thanks for the advice... RB: Forte Maroney Forsett D. Brown C. Buckhalter C. Portis WR: OchoCinco Housh Sims-Walker In my league we can play up to 3 WR and as little 1 RB... It's a PPR league Should I look to pick up another WR or RB? Players available: Garcon, Meecham, Cartwright, Scott Who would you drop? Is it time to say goodbye to Portis?
ts
Yes, say good bye to Portis even if he comes back for the last week or two, will you have the confidence to actually use him? Either Garcon or Rock seems like a reasonable replacement ... Scott might be, but chances are good that his day in the sunshine is over this week, certainly by next week. ry-bread
Thanks TS... I'm leaning toward snatching up Garcon and dropping Portis. ANYONE ELSE?
Montana is da Man
I'm a fan of Garcon or Meachum. Meachum has really started to play well recently. And yes, drop Portis.
eladioc
I'd also consider dropping Buckhalter for Cartwright. Buckhalter has looked so much better than Moreno this season, but I suppose the Broncos realize it wouldn't be in their best long-term interests to just sit Knowshon. Because of the committee approach, and Moreno's higher number of carries, Buckhalter doesn't look to produce as much as a full-time starter such as Cartwright could (at least for the foreseeable future). Rock looked good against the Cowboys and who knows when/if Portis will be back?
ry-bread
I like the rationale... Just not sure I would trust the Rock
ts
... Just not sure I would trust the Rock I can appreciate that, and frankly, Rock is likely not much of an upgrade (if any) over Forte or Maroney ... I think you need WR help as much as anything, and Garcon at least has some upside potential.
