Slugs3511
I run a league, and I guess the norm has been to stop trades at the beginning of week 13....So, I, as a commish, have stuck to it... I was wandering , how many of your leagues have a trade deadline?, when is it? and shy do most league stop trades on week 13? Looking for opinions and advice on this issue for next year in my league... I was even in a league before where rosters had to be set at the end of week 13 and you could not drop/add either, needless to say, I got out of that league.... Thanks in advance.... BeeR
No, we encourage collusion.
Slugs3511
BeeR, what do you mean collusion? That can happen anytime of the season....Form a committee and vote on the trades value and fairness before allowing the trade to go thru... BeeR
j/k. Seemed like a silly question, ie pretty much all league have a trade deadline and mostly for that reason. Ours is wk 12 FWIW.
delusions of grandeur
Why does the NFL have a trade deadline? So teams keep it competitive and fun, and not trading because team's seasons are already over. Trades should end shortly after playoff prep starts, especially when money's involved at a time when there's the most potential for collusion.
