Duchess Jack
this is going to be a stretch... I was watching NFL films a few years back... and they mentioned this guy who threw a TD, caught a TD and rushed a TD in one game. He did this the day or the day after his father or brother died - but he he pretty much didn't do anything else the rest of his career. I am looking for his name to send an article to a friend... but not remembering all the facts - and likely misremembering some of them - I am having a hard time. anybody have name for me? pig devilz
found this....I knew LT did it, but that's not who you are looking for. But now you know there were 7 Wiki... On October 16, 2005, in the Chargers' victory over the Oakland Raiders, LaDainian Tomlinson became the 7th player in NFL history to run, catch, and throw for a touchdown in the same game. Duchess Jack
thanks. again - I might have gotten a detail or two wrong, but I think that was what happened. There might have been a punt or kick return in there or an INT return in there as well as - or in place of - what was listed above. Something tells me that they TDs were long ones. I just recall it being a fantastic story that seemed almost unbelievable for its Rudyesque storybook quality.
