matt770
My deepest condolences. My wife lost her mom at the age of 5 and her dad when she was in college. I've heard so many stories about her dad that I feel like I knew him. First cold football Sunday of the year, my wife makes his famous beef & vegetable soup. He was a caterer, and I am eternally grateful for the culinary skills he passed on, as well as the sense of humor and other values I see in my wife and her siblings. Sometimes when life seems pointless, it helps to think of the people who affect our lives to this day, even when they passed years ago.
