But judging PAST events TODAY is always pretty easy. There is not one person on this site that was of cognitive age in 1942 (jokes aside) so all we can do is reflect our current morals on a situation we were never involved in. We also do not have the day's/era's emotion. JMPOV A question: Would FDR have done that if the Japanese just declared war on us instead of the sneak attack?
