This morning's U.S. News and World Report website informs us that only one in seven Americans knows that John Roberts is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, yet two-thirds can name a judge on "American Idol." And we call the medieval era the "dark ages."

1 in 7? I thought it would have been more like 1 in 20.

Maybe if he had a "Judge John" TV show, he'd have some more notariety.

 

I blame his PR people.
