BAKE
Performance League: 6 Pts per TD. 1 Pt per 25 Yds Passing. .1 yd for Rushing / Receiving. I have Drew Brees, But need a Backup! The choices that are: - Matt Moore. CAR. - Matt Leinart. AZ. - Tarvaris Jackson. MN. - Jake Delhomme. CLE. - Colt McCoy. CLE. - Brian Brohm. BUF. - Trent Edwards. BUF. I leaning between Moore & Leinart. Brees Bye is week 10. Matt Moore @ TB Wk 10 Matt Leinart vs SEA Wk 10. Which one?
Scooby's Hubby
I guess someone already has Jason Campbell? Those are some pretty bad options.
rattsass
Gun to my head I'll say Matt Moore. But with Brees as your #1, chances are it won't matter much anyway.

Moore and Leinart are the most likely to have starting jobs deeper into the season, so they are the safer options, IMO.

AoDay
I would go with Leinart. His position is pretty much uncontested. Arizona also has better WR's and Seattle's pass protection ranked 30th last year compared to TB who's pass protection was 10th. CAR also used their first pick on Jimmy Clausen which may signal lack of confidence in Moore and make the QB position a competition.
Clubfoothead
Brees does not have a bye until Week 10. Why on earth are you in any rush for a back-up are you required to have 2 QBs on your roster?
BAKE
Not required to have two QB's. I might just wait until week 9 - 10 to pick up a Bye week QB.
Clubfoothead
Not required to have two QB's. I might just wait until week 9 - 10 to pick up a Bye week QB. I know just enough to be dangerous. But unless required, I only draft 1 QB so I'mnot preaching anything I don't practice. I usually draft an extra unproductive WR.
Rovers
What round are you in? Taking Moore very late would be my approach. I would not just WW this position, what if Brees misses a couple of games? If you have a worst to first WW order, and you are winning, even if just to block, another owner will take a QB to screw you. Either Moore, or get Brees' backup, then do the WW move in week 8, not week 9.
