detlef
The amazing thing is that the principal is black and yet this school has race requirements for class officers. I'm trying hard to figure out what the hell they're thinking.

detlef
As messed up as it is, what amazes me is that it's all spelled out, nice and clear. As if they're saying, "Hey, come sue us." After all, I'm not so naive to think that a kid down there might not get a fair shake due to the color of his skin (certainly not saying that's right, obviously). I mean, until now, a black guy hasn't been able to win the White House and a woman still hasn't. BUT IT'S NOT WRITTEN IN THE FREAKING RULES! The Holy Roller
"I'd say the good people of Nettleton are about to get sued back into the Stone Age, but it appears they're already there." Indeed.
Riffraff
Reminds me of this documentary/movie called Prom Night in Mississippi. A school tries to have it's very first integrated black/white prom ever, paid by Morgan Freeman. You'd think this was 50 years ago, but it was in.... 2008.
