Chuck Norris 8
Am I crazy for thinking of taking Turner at the 2nd overall pick this year? I'm worried that the OLine and Favre will not be able to help Peterson succeed. This is a standard scoring league 1pt per 10 yds RUSH/REC 6 pts per TD NO PPR. Your thoughts??? Big Country
If you think he will be the 2nd best back, then go for it. I do not share that opinion, but it is not out of the realm of possibility.
Chuck Norris 8
Thanks for the post Big Country. I'm torn...honestly, I love Peterson, I just feel that with all the drama in Minn. this year, somethings going to backfire. I'm probably just over analyzing, but having Turner last year (aside from the injury) was excellent. He was projecting 1800 yds and 18 tds. Had he finished the year healthy, and with those numbers, we'd probably see him going 2nd or 3rd overall this year. Any other thoughts from my fellow huddlers? Regards, Chuck Norris

Regards, Chuck Norris 8 Well, it's your team. I wouldn't take Turner there. The potential is there for him to be a top 3 back, but why not take a lesser risk in Peterson or Gore? Sure, Gore is an injury risk, but if you're thinking Turner has potential if he stays healthy, imagine the season Gore is gonna have if he stays healthy. Weak division, not splitting carries, and a head coach who's committed to the run game before he's going to the passing game. Not that it's in your question to begin with, but I'm afraid of MJD this year - just a gut feeling. It's still preseason and he's already questionable with his knees, and then there's Ray Rice. I think he's gonna take a step back this year (a small one) with the addition of a legit passing game now with the addition of Boldin and Housh. Safest bet is Peterson, 2nd safest bet is Gore - however this is just my 2 cents! Good luck
twofeetinbounds
I think you may be overthinking this. Do what makes you happy. If you love Peterson take him and don't worry about the drama in Minn. If you love Turner take him because he certainly will not be there on your second pick. I always get in trouble when I overthink something and go away from my intial instinct. If your inital thoughts were Peterson go with him. If you have been thinking about going with Turner from the start go with your gut.

Chuck Norris 8
Excellent analysis gentelmen! I must agree and say that I shouldn't over analyze and go with my first instinct which is Peterson! Thanks for helping me get my head on straight. Good luck to all of you this season, and may your teams be injury free!!!
