yahoo and nfl.com both suggest benching Welker, i was ready to roll with him until i read that.

My bench WRs are Devin Aromashodu, Mike Wallace and Dexter McCluster, should i really

start any of those guys over Welker?!

Thanks.

You drafted Welker (probably early) for a reason.

The more you read, the more you'll second guess yourself. Besides, this is week 1.. It's too hard to predict (IMO - even for analysts) how a player, or team will do based on last years stats/team defenses..

Start Welker dude.

Considering your other options, no. The Bengals do have a very good backfield which should limit the passing offense, but NE & Welker usually do a pretty good job of getting him open over the middle & in the shorter routes vs the LBs. He should get the touches & could possibly ring in a score, but I wouldn't expect outstanding yardage numbers. Regardless he's still a better pick than the others.

I got him in the 4th round in one league and 5th round in another both PPR.

When i took him in the 4th round people laughed at me but from the way Welker looked in preseason it seemed like a decent pick.

Thanks

Lol. I was laughed at for taking Gore over Andre Johnson and MJD.. We'll see (just as you will in your league) who'll be laughing when that player goes off week after week.

I think Welker is just fine and I'd start him with confidence!
