depends on where you are staying, and what type of bars are you looking for? single married that type of stuff

Very married, but that doesn't preclude me seeing some tatas. Staying on canal at the Mariott. Looking for one high end restaurant and some good local fare. A nice dark smokey bar would be good as well as one where the uppity and trendy set go. Thanks in advance.

Don't Know your schedule, but I work near there get off around 5 or so if you want to hook up for a beer. Out of the ones listed August(which is right down the street from hotel) and Herbsaint(very short cab ride or walking distance). Local seafood Acme's is right around the corner(2-3 blocks).

Good Burger and drinks-Port Of Call(short cab ride or long walk).
