Perchoutofwater
Jobs. I didn't realize that Shrub only served as president for three years. Selective statistics?
SayItAintSoJoe
So what yer saying is that who ever controls the legislative branch is responsible for job growth, not the president? They control the $$$. Their latest proposed budget calls for 2 billion to be cut from Job Training programs. So yes they can have an impact on job growth. SayItAintSoJoe
800,000 jobs That's been out there for a while. The CBO originally made that projection last year. However, the CBO prediction is a little more nuanced. Last summer's CBO report said the projected labor reduction is "largely" the result of more people voluntarily staying out of the workforce because the healthcare reform law gives them better healthcare options through an expansion of Medicaid and new state-run health insurance exchanges. -The Hill
