lennykravitz2004 Posted November 19, 2011 Share Posted November 19, 2011 My Dad is currently on the table at Barnes Jewish here in STL getting a kidney transplant, literally as I type this. On one side, a family grieves. On the other, my family celebrates. When I made the decision a few years ago to be a donor during the process for renewing my driver's license, I never really gave it too much thought. If you haven't thought about it, I hope you do. At a time like this, words fail to express the gratitude I have for the donor, the decision they made to be a donor, and for their family. May God rest their soul, and grant peace to their family.
