Patriots
Does anyone else think that with the current streaming war going on that someone will outbid Direct TV by a lot for the rights to the sunday ticket once the current contract is up. I would say Apple would be a frontrunner for this as they already have MLB and NBA on their Apple TV right now. Just a thought. Pope Flick
I'd say it's far more likely for the NFL to go the route of MLB and control the streaming all for itself and charge on a per game or per team season basis. After all, they already own the product.

After all, they already own the product. I'd agree with this. Why give someone else the $? They'd still need the carrier. I'm wondering (and hoping) the NFL expands their network so that they can show news on one station and the peripheral stuff on another. I'd like to see games on all the time. New, classic, etc. I like those NFL films as well.
Patriots
It will be interesting to see where TV is in 3 years and how it effects the Sunday tickets. I say it becomes widely available to the masses. No more dish.
Whiskey Pimp
I was watching an interview with Goodell (Roger, not Ralph) on NFLN last week and he was saying they are aiming to have NFLN in every home in the next few years. So if they are hoping to have their channel in every home I'm sure they also plan on being able to control Sunday Ticket. Just assumptions though.
