Endzone
I was going off my dynasty PPR scoring which I think is pretty standard and there Peterson placed 5th last year. 2nd in '09. 7th in '08, and 4th in 07his rookie season. Okay, yes. I agree, if you want to play it safe he is a fine pick. But every season there is at least one "pass catching" back that blows him away. I want that guy. I'm not bashing Peterson at all. But I stand by my statement that he is not some kind of screaming value at 5 or 6. That is where he should appropriately be drafted. Just an opinion based on my own scoring rules which apparently differ from yours somewhat. I'll take Foster, Rice, McCoy, or CJ over him in a heartbeat. Who did you end up picking with the 2nd pick? I'm leaning to Rice myself

CaP'N GRuNGe
Couple things....the oline is indeed the biggest threat. Peterson has been told they are going to work him more into the passing game. Finally, don't sleep on Harvin, especially if the migraines are really behind him.

I think the screaming value part is the perceived lack of risk. Peterson has done it year in and year out. Foster is a potential one-year wonder, Rice has never handled a full workload (assuming he will get one), Chris Johnson's holdout is for real, Todd Haley is hellbent on limiting Charles' touches, etc.
