King Tut
The Rams are on their 5th,6th,7th etc DB's (corners). If Fitz can't get anything done, it will be shocking. Also if he doesn't dominate I'd be very worried as a Cardinal fan.
stevegrab
I think (and hope) that Fitz has a good week this week. However, I don't really think it has anything to do with Skelton replacing Kolb. Didn't he get a chance to play last year and was not very good? Which is why they spent a ton to get Kolb? Â I watched the Ravens game on NFL Replay this past week and during the first half Kolb looked very good, making some great throws, escaping pressure, making good decisions, etc. Fitz had that one huge pass play and almost broke it for a TD (the DB just barely caught him). Â I do think they need to have a decent run game to keep teams honest, other Fitz gets double teamed all day and they go to the TE (King?) and other WR (Doucet and Roberts). Ever since Boldin left he's seen a slight drop as teams focus more on him, and they've been running more since their QB situation has been bad (since Warner left, same year as Boldin?) Â Also doesn't help that their D isn't as good as in that SB run year, so they try to run more to give them more rest.
Steelhead
He'll blow up this week because I am going against him. Book it.
delusions of grandeur
I think (and hope) that Fitz has a good week this week. However, I don't really think it has anything to do with Skelton replacing Kolb. Didn't he get a chance to play last year and was not very good? Which is why they spent a ton to get Kolb? Exactly, the logic that "he couldn't be any worse than Kolb's been" doesn't really work when people were saying before the season about Kolb: "He couldn't be worse than Skelton's been" Â A QB doesn't have to be that good to get Fitz the ball, however, the guy has a huge catching radius, but everything I've heard about Fitz is that team's aren;t respecting their other targets and are rolling their coverage his way... That seems to be just as big of a concern as what QB is under center...
Tripleshot
The Cardinal o-line won't give Skelton any more time to throw than they have given(rather, haven't given) Kolb. Skelton may show a bit more testicular fortitude and actually stand in there and make a throw or two under pressure.
BleedingGreen
Logic doesnt f-ing work this year. It stands to reason therefore, yes Fitz will have 100 and a TD.
tazinib1
This is one of the juicier matchups that Fitz will get this year. Skelton could surprise and throw up some pretty good stats. I still got heavy expectations for Fitz this weekend. I'm certainly not benching him because of the QB situation.
