I deal with college students all day long. My raises and promotion possibilities are based in large part on the end-of-semester student evaluations of my teaching. I've very cynical about humanity in general these days and somewhat agoraphobic Yeah. The last few years I can't make myself stay in an area full of people. I used to suffer through it, now I steer clear of crowded events if at all possible.
