MothAudio
ESPN's Ed Werder reports the Patriots are meeting with free agent RB Steven Jackson on Wednesday. Per Werder, there is "mutual interest" after Jackson played for OC Josh McDaniels in McD's one season with the Rams. Jackson is 32 and has been out of the league since being released by the Falcons back in February, but if anything, he should be fresh. Always known to keep himself in tip-top shape, Jackson would be an interesting addition to a backfield that's in need of assistance after losing LeGarrette Blount (hip) for the year. darin3
Oh, and I saw mentions of S-Jax's name related to the situation in Seattle, too. Just homer speculation but thought it'd be a great fit.
