Dcat
Revis and Joe Klecko. Revis is so dense he doesn't understand why Jets fans will NEVER love or respect him. Whether Revis was a "better" player on the field is totally subjective. They were both outstanding players, with Klecko being more versatile in that he played 3-4, 4-3 and all over the line. He had the most amazing leverage for his fire hydrant size. IMO, he was just as valuable to his team, if not more, than was Revis. So as to who was the better defensive player: they were both great. Now let's talk about who was the "BETTER NY JET". There is no contest. Klecko was a team-guy. Revis was Mevis and had zero loyalty to his fans, teammates or the greater New York metropolitan area. Klecko was the anchor of the defense in his day and the leader of the Sack Exchange. Revis was the leader of.... well... Mevis. Frankly, Jets fans attending the induction should roar and cheer for #73, Joe Klecko. Personally, I would walk out when it is Revis' turn to go. He is a Jets legend on the field, but will NEVER be anyone's favorite Jet. Basically... f*ck Revis. Thanks for nothing. I'll take Klecko everyt day over him, notwithstanding Revis' undeniable talent. (If I ever get a #24 Jets jersey, it would be with the name Freeman McNeil and not Revis.) Quote Considering how hard the Jets went in last year in being the ones trying to heal old wounds for the team and fans, clearly in preparation of knowing he'd be up for the hall, it takes a special level of mind-numbing stupidity for him to think any of this is an even slightly good idea. This was his chance to re-market himself for any potential future return on his pro career, but he's doing his best to make sure no one will want to deal with him again the moment the induction ceremony is finished. stevegrab
Seems the modern era players (including some who aren't that good) think they are the best ever. Or else they just flap their gums more using social media.
