My life had actually been going along swimmingly until Darin and my paths crossed in the dorms during freshman year, and in news that should come as no surprise, it’s been a fairly steady decline for us both since then. But hey, you keep on fighting, right? I find the best thing to do when friends invariably disappoint you is to immerse oneself in football, be it college or pro. Which I have been doing for years now. No, but seriously…Darin and I just spent the year discussing fantasy football, and what a wild season it was. Originally from Northern CA, I’m a Niner fan that despises Jimmy Garoppolo, but surprisingly has a soft spot for Dak and CeeDee, as that stack just won me a fantasy title. College football has not been as kind…I am a born and raised Cal fan, and that dumpster-fire abomination of a program has taken years off my life…years. But hey, hopefully better things are in store as the Golden Bears begin play in the ACC because NOTHING says Atlantic Coast like Berkeley, California, eh. What else….divorced dog dad with no kids that currently lives in Santa Barbara, but enjoys hitting the highway for road trips frequently…I pay attention to all the latest football news, take these leagues seriously, and pay dues on time!
