Blaylock/Johnson info-Sunday morning

Just as it will be important for Johnson to build on his Oakland performance. The question is: How many opportunities will Johnson get? Blaylock will make his fifth straight start in place of Holmes, and Johnson's role could be determined by the flow of the game. Coach Dick Vermeil said Saturday that Blaylock will take the first two series, Johnson will take the third, then the backs will rotate.

 

“Some of that will be determined by how the game plays out,” Vermeil said. “Sometimes you get a feel as the game goes on, like in New Orleans when Derrick was rippin' 'em pretty good. They're both going to get a chance to get in there and run.”
