Balzac
Heard it reported this morning that he would be active, but likely won't get too many carries. I for one think Shanny is just testing Bell - he'll bring it right up to the line but will decide to sit him . . . he just wants to see that Tatum won't declare himself not ready first. They'd be true idiots if they actually played him.
Monsters Of The Midway
ESPN pre game just started but Clayton did confirm Bell will attempt to play today despite the injury and this is a wait and see situation.
Balzac
I'm gambling and playing Droughns over Julius Jones in one of my leagues - I just can't see Bell getting much time if they want him healthy for the playoffs (if they make it). Phatboy
I want to play Droughns so bad but this is scaring me.
Balzac
Go with your gut. Mine is saying to play Rueben . . . and my gut seems to be a lot smarter than my head this year.
Balzac
probably very telling that Hearst is active today . . .
Deacon
probably very telling that Hearst is active today . . . 620312 Mort says Droughns starts
Buffalo4
Important info just came through the priority news on the home page. I wouldn't play Bell if you have him and if you have droughns I'd play him
aterry1979
So now that Bell is active but not starting, do you think its a better choice to play him over Thomas Jones.. and yes I am desperate
Buffalo4
I would start Droughns, but I think niether would be a game breaker. Don't mull it over too much, pick one and go with it
General Itals
Jennifer Garner just said that Bell's performance last week was an aberration, that he is soft, and that Droughns will be the man this week. I think I'll listen to her expert advice. Edited December 19, 2004 by General Itals
Balzac
I'd play Rueben over TJones - most definitely.
aterry1979
I dont have Droughns, I have Bell and Jones. Out of desperation, who would you pick? BTW I have 20 minutes to put in my lineup

Bender Rodriguez
My opponent started Droughns today... Bell, 40 yds. Droughns, -2 yds. Uh oh!

Balzac
Im in the playoffs you idiot. whats your excuse? 620719 Excuse for what, genius? I'm not the one who can't make his own decisions and then gets pissed about it. I made a call for my own team and I'm sticking with it. Anyway, I've made playoffs in both of my leagues - good thing the one I started Droughns in the playoffs don't start until next week . . . knicker
yeah droughns is starting and has 1 freakin carry and catch... way to hook me up, big Rube!
Tagliaboohoo
yeah droughns is starting and has 1 freakin carry and catch... way to hook me up, big Rube! 620731 Blame Shanahan if you're going to blame somebody. All the info out of Denver had Droghns the logical choice. This is blowing up my playoff run, too. Should have known with Shanahan making the call. Listen to what he says and then do the opposite, I guess. I had that sneaking suspicion that anything I did would be wrong. Had to play one of them, though. It's early and Tatum Bell's brittle, though. I wouldn't be surprised to see Droughns playing a big role in the game at some point. Maybe he'll be play faster when the Chiefs Defense has worn down a bit.
