weekapaug Posted December 24, 2004 Share Posted December 24, 2004 I don't know about overpaid on a per year basis. The hype he gets must generate a ton of revenue for the Falcons. It's business. And he is winning games, that doesn't hurt either. It was the 10 years part that really surprised me. If he doesn't develope into a better passer, that could really hurt the Falcons in the long run 'cause some defensive coordinator will figure out how to shut down his running and the rest of the league will follow suit.
