cincy slammers
I thought OHIO STATE would win , but this is just downright embarrassing. Is the big 12 d this bad? OSU was not a good offensive team this year and the big 12 scored at will.
theeohiostate
We'll see more to come..........and much of the same. They have some good teams.........but great? Not even close this year or last. It's only when they play legitimate opponents that you get to see the "light". I know there are some Texas homers getting a little sick about now. gilthorp
Very impressive win for Ohio State.
cincy slammers
As Ive said before, Okie St was the 5th best team in the Big 12 South. Their D gave up 56 to Texas and 38 to OU at home. Not a single all conference player on that side of the ball, and if memory serves me correct they only had 1 total. 635972 i will agree with you here but, how many points did they give up to okie st? not too pretty
GWPFFL BrianW
And Oklahoma State could have ran the table in the Big Ten apparently, according to one of the posters on this message board.
GWPFFL BrianW
Would Oklahoma State still run the table int he Big Ten? Just curious.
theeohiostate
Would Oklahoma State still run the table int he Big Ten? Just curious. 636331 I think so, they would probably win the SEC as well, seeing how it is a down year for them as well. Same Athena different year, when will the voters realize this is just another MAC or WAC conference and give their votes to more deserving teams........like Auburn this year or USC last year?? To think Cal got slid from the BCS to make room for Texas.
gilthorp
agreed. And it is a shame, that instead of talking about a fine win by OSU, the story is more scandalous behavior out of this program. This Athena just seems to follow Tressel. He may be a good coach, but he is an idiot. He had the balls to say last night, all we can do is educate, and we are pretty good at it too. yeah, days after another scandal, all that educating you have been doing sure is paying off in lights of these new allegations. 636188 Come on now, Sarge. Controlling the booster is not something head coaches are equipped to do, especially at a large state institution, it just can't be done. There are these types of problems at a majority of the big time schools, but most of the people that move in and out of the system will keep their mouth's shut because it is to their benefit. Clarett comes along and mouths off because he's nothing but a punk and thus the can of worms is now open. When Geiger admits there's problems like he did the other day, that's a HUGH statement, even though he didn't say much. It's a shame that you don't follow the Midwest football more than you do, choosing to concentrate all of your attention to the Big12. The Big10 plays some good football and Ohio State's defense has been very good for many years now. It's a shame you don't admit that fact and choose to talk about a "scandal". gilthorp
Where there is smoke there is usually fire. 636402 And where there is good defense, there is good defense.
GWPFFL BrianW
Run the table no, but would still probably win that conference. 636375 Yeah they sure looked like they could have won the Big 10 last night. ROFL. Oklahoma State looked like they woulda struggled to be bowl eligable in the Big 10. They mighta beat Indiana and Illinois.
GWPFFL BrianW
You dont give a rats a$$ but yet you spend the majority of your time calling the Big Ten weak, as if the Big 12 is supposed to be so much stronger. Saying things like Oklahoma State would run the table in the Big 10. If you don't give a rats a$$ about the Big Ten, then stop ripping on it with no facts to back it up. theeohiostate
Didnt Ohio St lose to Northwestern Yes they did, very observant Sarge. It is also true that OSU beat down the Cowboys 33-7, while OU barley held 'em off LUCKILY 38-35.
