Guest Sores
Jeff George has shown enough in practice and in the locker room that Bears coach Lovie Smith wants him to return next season. "We like everything he has done," Smith said. "The times we've seen him in practice, he has been everything we thought he'd be." -- Chicago Tribune I think George would give the Bears a better chance to win than they would have with Rex Grossman... Puddy
I thought maybe you were talking about Carlin....I figure he won't return for a month or two
gilthorp
Sounds like Quinn is gone for sure...they are talking about sending Krenzel and Dinwoodie to NFL Europe and for sure keeping Hutch and George as back-ups. This strategy may have more to do with the fact that they are unsure of Grossman's ability to recover from the surgery, and the simple fact that after three games this year and all of pre-season, he didn't show much at all. He's still unproven.

Some of that play calling in the latter half looked as if John Shoop was doing it.
