Todd1
There IS a God! My question is, why didn't we hire Wolf's prodigy from Seattle in 2000!?!?! I'm not sure exactly why Seattle chokes in the playoffs every year, but they have drafted a lot of good talent- Alexander, Trufant, Tubbs, Hamlin, Boulware, Hutchinson, DJax, etc.. Oh, and one tool named KRobbed.
Chavez
I've been pretty happy about this news since it broke for 2 reasons: - Sherman is a decent enough coach but his "knack" for talent evaluation just isn't there - I think some of the bigger mistakes made by Sherman in non-personnel areas could have been avoided by a voice willing to tell Sherman "I don't think that's a good idea, Mike" That said, I think he's a darn good coach (in the Schottenheimer/Reeves mode, take that as you will but I don't intend it as a slam) and hopefully will be able to work with the new GM in a Wolf/Holmgren relationship. A Little Bit Special
Anyone care to guess what his first move will be? According to another article Sherman still has control over his staff so Thompson can't fire Slowik without Sherman being onboard.
