Hugh-mongus
In Andy Reid's day after press conference, he just announced that Chad Lewis will miss the Super Bowl due to a Lis Franc sprain. I believe it happened during his second touchdown yesterday. It's a real shame for a guy who was pivotal in the Conference title game and who has been a part of the team through the close calls of the past 3 years. Now they finally make it to the big game and he can't enjoy it. Quite a shame.

Hugh 0ne
Did it happen during the play or during the celebration? Looked like he was fine after the play. Not that it really matters, but it would kind of be Grammatica-like if he did it during the celebration. Big loss, but TO coming back should help. Azazello1313
"lis franc sprain" sounds so gay. not that there's anything wrong with that
Bill Swerski
Big loss, but TO coming back should help. 669661[/snapback] Do we know this for sure? Even if he does come back, his effectiveness will certainly be limited. Agreed that Chad Lewis is a big loss.
uglytuna
The question is, does Philly even score a point in the SB?
forever in debt to mo lewis
In the on-field euphoria following the Eagles' 27-10 defeat of the Falcons, coach Andy Reid expressed significant optimism when asked by Fox analyst Terry Bradshaw about the likelihood the injured receiver would be ready to play in Jacksonville on Feb. 6. However, after leaving the field, Reid toned down his comments. "I got caught up in the emotion," he told reporters later. "[T.O.] was standing there, so I wanted to make him feel good."
