major-tom
Duke doesn't make a FG for over 10 mins (until the last tip off the free throw), and still find a way to win. ESPN and Rick Majerus are sure making a huge deal over the phantom foul.....did a Duke player grab the jersey of his own guy and the refs called it on GT? WaterMan
I didn't see a foul, but I probably missed something.

Duke up by 1, trying to inbounds, GT playing full court with like 34 seconds left. They had been fouling for a couple of possessions already. Phantom call, but not a difference maker in terms of the game. For all the calls they weren't making down the stretch, certainly odd they blow a whistle on that one. darin3
Didn't look like a foul. Looks like the ref anticipated some sort of collision or hold. As a basketball ref myself, I know these sorts of calls are pretty tough to make, especially in this sort of situation. But it looked like a pretty bad call. Part of the game, though. The refs blew a few calls in the first half that went GT's way, too. It all evens out - normally. Duke will probably get the 1 seed. Wake Forest won't. UNC will. Illinois, Duke, UNC and .... Louisville (west).

major-tom
Darin, nice call on Louisville, boy they got shafted, a #4 seed? Brutal. 732545[/snapback] They only won their conference, conf. tournament, and 18 of 19. Not sure what else they could do. I guess their strength of schedule wasn't the greatest (72nd). Ralph Furley
If anything, Reddick grabbed the jersey of a GT player. Don't have a clue how thats a foul on GT, but I would never want to be in that refs position. Man, they have a hard job at times.
