Chargerz
Congratulations to North Carolina! Illinois made a game of it in the second half, but the Tarheels were definitely the better team tonight.

Meat Face
good job UNC. Most importantly, an entertaining game! Amazingly, when I saw Roy on TV after the game, I have to say that I felt good for him. I was quite surprised at myself, but I guess after rooting for the guy for so many years I couldn't help it. Looks like I won yet another sigline bet.

Too much May...it's as simple as that. He was the most dominant player in the tournament. Tied with 2:30 left...can't ask for a much better game. The Illini had their shots to take the lead (3 I think) but they didn't go down.

I Like Soup
True, but how many times do two #1 seeds ever meet in the final? And to that end, how many times do the #1 and #2 end-of-season-ranked teams meet in the final? I believe it was the 1970's when that last happened..... 765214 Umm...sure, tell that to a 10 year old. Yeah, two terrible football programs whose hoops teams are at the tops of their game. 765272 I don't know about Illinois, but I do know that UNC is pretty much defined by their basketball program, not football. I was surprised Illinois made a game of it in the second half and must give them props. I didn't think they would be able to hang with UNC. I turn around after about 3 beers and they are only down by 4! Anyway, great game!
